Kings Of Leon to headline Isle of Wight festival

The band will join already announced acts Red Hot Chili Peppers and Biffy Clyro on the bill

Kings Of Leon have been announced as the Sunday night headliners of Isle of Wight festival.

The band will take to the Main Stage on Sunday (June 15), joining already announced acts Red Hot Chili Peppers and Bify Clyro at the top of the bill.

Other names announced for the festival today (February 3) are The Horrors, Deap Vally, The Strypes, Travis, Clean Bandit, The Specials, John Newman, Gorgon City, The Polyphonic Spree, From The Jam, Neon Jungle, Swim Deep, Chlöe Howl and The Selecter. In addition former N Dubz man Dappy will appear, along with Lawson and The Vamps.

Isle Of Wight Festival runs from June 12-15 in Seaclose Park. For more information visit Isleofwightfestival.com. Biffy Clyro will headline the main stage on Friday (June 13), while Red Hot Chili Peppers will play Saturday (June 14). It is the band's first UK festival appearance since 2007 and will be their only UK show of 2014.
