Kings Of Leon pulled a concert in Saratoga Springs, New York, yesterday (August 10) after drummer Nathan Followill (pictured above, far right) was injured on the band's tourbus.

A post on the Tennessee band's Facebook page explains that Followill was injured when a pedestrian "jumped in front" of their tour bus. He sustained broken ribs during the resulting emergency stop.

The post confirms: "Nathan is being treated for broken ribs, but is doing well."

Fans were offered refunds for the cancelled performance.

Following messages of support from fans, Followill tweeted thanks. "Thank you for all of the get well soons. I'm a little banged up but will be back better than ever," he wrote.

Nathan's brother and bandmate Jared Followill also tweeted about the incident on Sunday. He wrote: "So sad this a.m.. Bus accident last night. Nathan has broken ribs. This was the most fun tour in a while. We'll be back ASAP.#GetWellNate."

Pictured above right playing at this year's Isle Of Wight festival, Kings Of Leon released their sixth album, 'Mechanical Bull', in September 2013. It became their fourth Number One album in the UK.
