KIRSTY MacCOLL MEMORIAL SERVICE ANNOUNCED

A memorial service for the late singer KIRSTY MacCOLL will take place in LONDON later this month.

The ceremony will take place at St Martin's In The Fields in Trafalgar Square from 11am on January 20. An e-mail sent to the official Kirsty MacColl mailing list said that "all are welcome to pay their respects" to MacColl.

MacColl was killed in a boating accident while on holiday last month in Mexico. She was hit by a speedboat while diving with her teenage sons. The driver of the speedboat has since been released on bail while an investigation into the death is completed.
