KISS - AND TELL!

KISS are being sued by one of their fans, who claims that she was injured by a broken guitar at a gig.

Carly Miller, 27, from Grand Rapids, Michigan, has filed a lawsuit against the band, the Van Andel Arena and three companies linked to the concert.
According to the Michigan Live Grand Rapids Edition, she claims that she suffered severe damage to her hand after Paul Stanley hurled his guitar into the audience and a string wrapped around one of her fingers and was pulled by fans trying to grab the guitar parts.

The incident happened on May 8 during 'Rock And Roll All Nite' in the encore.

The victim was in the third row and claims she was pulled from her seat. Her attorney, Jason Barrix, said: "It hit her hand and people were fighting over pieces of the guitar and somehow this string got wrapped around her finger." She suffered temporary loss of feeling in her right middle finger and has a permanent scar, and also sustained bruising from being pulled over two rows of chairs when she was being pulled along by the guitar string. A bouncer at the front of the stage unwrapped the string from her finger, and Miller went to hospital for treatment for cuts.

The lawsuit, which blames The Kiss Company for allowing him to throw guitars into the audience at gigs, alleges that Stanley "failed to act as a reasonable and prudent person would have in the same or similar circumstances" by throwing a "heavy electric guitar" into a crowded seating arena.
