Ex-guitarist Ace Frehley says singer would 'fuck almost anything'

Gene Simmons is a 'sex addict', claims former Kiss bandmate
Kiss's Gene Simmons is a sex addict, his former bandmate Ace Frehley has claimed.

Frehley, who was one of the band's founding members in 1972 but left in 1982 to focus on a solo career, has revealed that the singer would "fuck almost anything" in his forthcoming autiobiography No Regrets.

According to the New York Post, Frehley – who later rejoined Kiss in 1996 but departed once more in 2002 – writes in the book: "I believe Gene is a sex addict, in much the same way I am an alcoholic. If you've been with only one or two women (and had to beg for whatever you got off them), it must be intoxicating to suddenly have groupies falling all over you."

The guitarist goes on to add:

We all have our issues and vices, and I saw Gene's behaviour affect him and the band sometimes in a negative way… [He] would fuck almost anything. Short, tall, plump, svelte, attractive, merely tolerable.

Simmons married former Playboy centrefold Shannon Tweed earlier this month (October 1). The ceremony at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles was attended by guests including Hugh Hefner, comedian and talk show host Bill Maher and Simmons' bandmates.

Kiss frontman Paul Stanley recently talked up the chances of the band recording a duet with Lady Gaga. They are currently putting the finishing touches to their 20th studio album 'Monster', which is due for release in January 2012.
