Klaxons postpone US dates
American new rave invasion delayed
Klaxons have postponed their first US shows.
The band were due to play five shows including a performance at tiny New York venue Cake Shop as part of the city's week-long CMJ event.
However according to a statement from the band they will delay their trip to the US, so they can finish their debut album. The tour is to be rescheduled for early 2007.
The postponed dates are:
New York, NY Cake Shop (Vice CMJ Party) (November 1)
Philadelphia, PA Pure (3)
Brooklyn, NY Galapagos (with Shitdisco) (4)
Hollywood, CA Cinespace (7)
San Francisco, CA Popscene (9)
