Klaxons’ ’MagicK’ has topped the NME Chart tonight (October 29).
The song has knocked The Long Blondes’ 'Once And Never Again’ off the top spot.
New entries on the chart include The Fratellis at Number Six with ’Whistle For The Choir’, The Gossip, who re-enter at number eight with ’Standing In The Way Of Control’ and The Maccabees at Number Ten with ’First Love’.
This week’s NME Chart is:
1. Klaxons – ‘MagicK’
2. The Long Blondes – ‘Once And Never Again’
3. The View – ‘Superstar Tradesman’
4. Muse – ‘Knights Of Cydonia’
5. The Horrors – ‘Count In Fives’
6. The Fratellis – ‘Whistle For The Choir’
7. Placebo – ‘Meds’
8. The Gossip – ‘Standing In The Way Of Control’
9. The Raconteurs – ‘Broken Boy Soldiers’
10.The Maccabees – ‘First Love’
Will Klaxons manage two weeks at the top or will Green Day and U2 knock them off next week when their collaboration ’The Saints Are Coming’ is released? Or will Gnarls Barkley grab the top spot with ’Who Cares’? We'll see...
