Klaxons rescue Benicassim show at the eleventh hour

Band to play delayed show later tonight after storm drama

Klaxons have been forced to delay their appearance at Benicassim tonight (July 20).

London's new rave pioneers were due to open the festival’s Escenario Verde main stage programme at 9pm today. However, ongoing bad weather in the UK has caused chaos at London's airports, severely delaying their fight.

Thinking their show was doomed, the band announced a cancellation through their website today.

However, festival organisers ensured that the show would go on and made last minute contingency plans, switching Klaxons' slot with Danish dance outfit Who Made Who, who now get a promotion to the main stage in Klaxons' former slot.

Klaxons will now play a night-time set on the Enscenario Fiberfib stage at 00.35.
