Klaxons have cancelled their tour of Australia, as Jamie Reynolds has broken his leg.

The affable frontman suffered the break when he jumped off stage at the Garden Nef Festival in France at the weekend.

The band were due to begin their Australian tour on August 2, but are now hoping to resume their dates on August 11 at Summersonic in Japan.

Reynolds posted a bulletin on Myspace, apologising to disappointed fans and promising he would use his “horizontal” time to work on new material.
