Klaxons have announced details of their new album, plus a short UK tour to take place in April.

The band will release 'Love Frequency', their third album, on June 2 via Akashic Rekords . It is the follow up to 2010 album 'Surfing The Void' and follows the release of new single 'There Is No Other Time'. Producers on the album include James Murphy, Gorgon City, Erol Alkan and Tom Rowlands of The Chemical Brothers.

Scroll down to watch the band discuss 'Love Frequency' with comedian Harry Enfield, in which the comedian jokes he is hoping his interview skills will earn him a "low paid job as a reporter with the NME."

Klaxons will embark on a low-key run of live dates in the UK prior to the release of 'Love Frequency'. Tickets for all dates go on general sale this Friday, March 7, at 9am. Scroll down for full ticket details.

Klaxons will play:

Hare & Hounds Birmingham (March 31)
Kings Tut, Glasgow (April 1)
Oslo, London (2)
Ruby Lounge, Manchester (3)

Speaking about the band's new music, Jamie Reynolds of Klaxons recently told NME: "This record is very much about the present, an emotionally honest album about technological and personal progression."

Talking earlier this year, Reynolds described the sound of the album as "classy and euphoric", saying: "It covers leftfield electronica and pop. It's where we always said we were gonna place ourselves - it just took us a while to learn how to get there."
