The reclusive German legends' only TV appearance anywhere this year will be at the Edinburgh bash...

ELECTRONIC PERFORMERS!

Kraftwerk will be making their first and only TV appearance anywhere in the world at this year's MTV EUROPE MUSIC AWARDS which take place on November 6 in EDINBURGH.

The legendary electronic music pioneers be following the success of their reworking of 'Tour de France' as a soundtrack album. The band also plan to embark on a world tour in 2004.

Flaming Lips and The Chemical Brothers will also play a live outside broadcast at 'MTV in The Gardens' which will be beamed live from Edinburgh's Princes Street Gardens into the awards ceremony.

As previously reported on NME.COM, The Darkness and Pink are set to perform at the event, which will be hosted by Christina Aguilera in the city's Western Harbour Ocean Terminal Arena.

Also confirmed to perform are Beyonce, Kylie, Travis, [/a], Sean Paul and [a].

Presenters already lined-up for the event include Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Laurence Fishburne, Naomi Campbell, Perry Farrell & Dave Navarro, Pharrell Williams and Kelly Osbourne.

The awards ceremony will be broadcast live on MTV UK & Ireland on November 6 at 8pm with more performers and presenters yet to be announced.
