Kristin Hersh returns with a new album on June 28 called 'Sky Motel', the follow up to last year's 'Strange Angels' and 'Murder, Misery And Then Goodnight', her collection of Appalachian folk songs.
The album, produced by Kristin and Trina Shoemaker - who won two Grammy Awards for her work with Sheryl Crow - will be preceded by a new single called 'Echo' on June 14. Kristin played all the instruments except drums on for tracks. She will visit the UK for dates around the time of its release.
