KT Tunstall backs Live Earth aims

The singer says she's having her house made green

KT Tunstall has pledged her commitment to the environment at a press conference at Live Earth in the US.

The Scottish singer is having her home renovated to include solar panels and sheeps wool insulation, and while on tour has endeavored to use biodiesel fuel to run her bus.

The singer has also “defected to Virgin Airlines” when flying is necessary because she said Richard Branson has committed to using the airline’s profits to research more fuel efficient ways of powering his planes.

KT Tunstall also noted the drastic changes in climate in Scotland since she was a child “As a child I used to ski ever year in Scotland, and now it’s very rare to get enough snow coverage to ski at all”.

“The resounding advice is to get on with it in your own life and get your own house in order” she concluded “But constantly having it rammed down your throat can be quite irritating”.

Meanwhile Ludacris is just completing his Live Earth appearance at Giants Stadium, with emo rockers AFI set to go onstage next.
