An exhibition of artwork inspired by Nirvana's Kurt Cobain has opened in Seattle.

Entitled Kurt, the collection is being housed at the Seattle Art Museum until September 6.

Featuring a range of work in various mediums, the exhibition includes items such as a carved cardboard bust of Cobain by Scott Fife and early live photographs of Nirvana taken by Charles Peterson.

Meanwhile, the exhibition's curator Michael Darling will be hosting a talk tomorrow (May 14) at the museum, which will be followed by a lecture by Kurt Cobain biographer Charles R. Cross. For more information, visit SeattleArtMuseum.org.
