Kylie Minogue has made a pledge to stop touts from selling tickets at hugely inflated prices.
The singer is preventing tickets being sold on eBay for her Wembley Arena shows next year at five times the asking price, reports The Sun.
Official ticket agencies have started cancelling touted tickets after tracking down the sellers.
Letters are being sent out by ticket agencies which states that all seats they have ordered but not yet received will be cancelled.
The statment adds: “This is because you have sold your tickets to a third party without the express written permission from the promoters of the event.”
Once the tickets are cancelled Kylie wants the tickets re-sold to genuine fans.
The move is a major victory for NME's own Stamp Out The Touts campaign which has also seen the likes of Kaiser Chiefs, Bloc Party and Keane hitting out at those selling tickets for hugely inflated prices.
The government and the music industry are currently working on a plan to tackle the issue.
Tickets for Kylie's Showgirl - Homecoming dates on January 2, 3, 5, 6, 8 and 9, sold out within less than an hour.
