Kylie Minogue makes live return
Singer plays her first show since battling breast cancer
Kylie Minogue has made her live return after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
The singer kicked off her Showgirl Homecoming world tour last night (August 10) at Sydney Entertainment Centre.
Dressed in feathers from head to toe, with an Australian cockatoo's plume on her head, the singer rolled through a series of hits on a huge art-deco stage with up to 13 dancers, and a spectacular video and laser show.
The gig was her first of 20 in Australia before she travels over to the UK next January, reports BBC News.
She was forced to abandon the jaunt last year after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
The sold-out shows will call at the following UK locations:
London Wembley Arena (January 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9)
Manchester MEN Arena (12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 19 ).
