Emily Eavis : “It’s just not going to happen”

Kylie Minogue will not play Glastonbury next year according to Emily Eavis.

The singer was due to headline the closing day of the festival, according to festival chief Michael Eavis.

However, Emily Eavis has now said she is unable to play next year's event.

“(Kylie)’s got a lot of touring up her sleeve and I think if she was going to do Glastonbury, she’d rework her show and I don’t think it’s going to be possible in that time frame. It’s just not going to happen," explained Emily.

Eavis also told BBC 6 Music that the returning festival would not be “dominated by headliners”.

Eavis said: “We’ve got really good stuff coming in. But there’s not going to be dominating headliners. We’ve got such a good wealth of stuff coming in through.”
