La Roux have revealed details of three UK live dates as well as confirming they will perform at Coachella in the US.

The duo, made up of vocalist Elly Jackson and producer Ben Langmaid, will perform in Brighton, Bristol and Coventry. The short run of low-key gigs begins at Brighton venue Concorde 2 on March 28 before heading to The Fleece in Bristol on April 2. The final show takes place on April 5 at Coventry's Kasbah venue. Revealing the tour dates on Twitter, La Roux stated: "UK, we will be playing three warm up shows in Brighton, Bristol & Coventry". Tickets for all three dates will be available from 9am on Friday February 8.

The dates and the Coachella performance suggest that La Roux could soon be set to release their long-awaited second album. The duo released their self-titled debut album in 2009. It featured the singles 'I'm Not Your Toy', 'Bulletproof' and 'In For The Kill'.

Speaking about the reason behind the long wait for the follow-up, Jackson has said: "I realised the album I wanted to make would require me being a much better musician than I was. There's been a lot of learning and it's been fun and I didn't want it to stop, basically." She added: "I'm not one for describing how the songs sound, but to me it sounds great, obviously, or I wouldn't have spent this much time making it."

La Roux will play:

Brighton, Concorde 2 (March 28)
Bristol, The Fleece (April 2)
Coventry, Kasbah (5)
