La Roux pack out Glastonbury's Dance Village

La Roux packed out the Dance Tent East at Glastonbury this afternoon (June 27), playing a live set as the sun shone down on Worthy Farm.

The duo, fronted by singer Elly Jackson, played to a capacity crowd in the Dance Village area venue, playing songs from their self-titled album, including the UK Number Two single 'In For The Kill'.

The show didn't all go to plan, though, as there appeared to be a smoke machine malfunction - the four-piece were soon engulfed in dry ice as they began playing.

"Whoever made the smoke come on stage, can they not do it ever again, please?" Jackson pleaded.

The smoke was soon cleared and La Roux went on to play songs including 'As If By Magic' and 'Colourless Colour', before closing with 'Bulletproof' - which is in the running to be the UK Number One single tomorrow (June 28) - inducing a mass singalong.
