La Roux unveils new song 'Tropical Chancer'
Elly Jackson releases her second album 'Trouble In Paradise' on July 7
Listen to 'Tropical Chancer' on the Pitchfork website. Earlier this month Elly Jackson premiered two more new songs in a set packed with fresh material as her North American tour arrived in Toronto.
Elly Jackson played a set filled with new material, including the previously unheard 'Cruel Sexuality' and 'Kiss And Not Tell'. She also performed 'Let Me Down Gently' and 'Uptight Downtown', both of which have been released in the run up to the release of the second La Roux album, during the gig at Danforth Music Hall.
During the course of recording the LP, Jackson separated from musical partner Ben Langmaid, and recently told NME that "there wasn't a great deal of understanding" between them when it came to making new music.
La Roux will tour the UK in November. She also plays a one-off London show at Conway Hall on July 1. See below for ticket details.
La Roux will play:
London Conway Hall (July 1)
Glasgow O2 ABC (November 5)
Leeds Metropolitan University (7)
Birmingham Institute (8)
Bristol Academy (10)
Norwich UEA (14)
Oxford Academy (15)
Manchester Ritz (16)
