Lady GaGa's 'Poker Face' stays at Number One

Noisettes also score highest-ever UK singles chart entry

Lady Gaga stayed at Number One for a second week in the UK singles chart this evening (March 29).

The singer's 'Poker Face', which was covered by Arctic Monkeys recently, held off competition from The Noisettes, who scored their best-ever singles chart placing with 'Don’t Upset The Rhythm (Go Baby Go)' at Number Two.

La Roux stayed at Number 11 with 'In For The Kill'.

In the albums chart, Ronan Keating spent a second week at Number One with 'Songs For My Mother', while Pet Shop Boys hit Number Four with their new album 'Yes'.

Other new entries included Royksopp at Number 21 with 'Junior' and US metallers Mastodon with 'Crack The Skye' at Number 34.

The UK singles chart Top Ten is:

1. Lady Gaga – 'Poker Face'
2. The Noisettes – 'Don't Stop The Rhythm (Go Baby Go)'
3. Flo Rida Ft Kesha – 'Right Round'
4. Beyonce – 'Halo'
5. Ar Rahman Ft Pussycat Dolls – 'Jai Ho (You Are My Destiny)'
6. Taylor Swift – 'Love Story'
7. TI Ft Justin Timberlake – 'Dead And Gone'
8. Akon Ft K Offishall/C O'Donis – 'Beautiful'
9. Metro Station – 'Shake It'
10. Kelly Clarkson – 'My Life Would Suck Without You'


The UK albums chart Top Ten is:
