Lady Gaga brought BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend in Carlisle to a spectacular close tonight (May 15).

The singer, who arrived onstage half an hour later than billed, was wheeled onstage in a coffin by backing dancers and emerged wearing a prosthetic pregnant stomach, before beginning her set with 'Born This Way'.

She worked quickly through her earlier material, only playing excerpts of singles 'Telephone', 'Poker Face' and 'Alejandro', choosing to focus more on material from 'Born This Way', from which she played five tracks in full.

Lady Gaga also did several dedications, playing new song 'The Edge Of Glory' for her grandfather and a cover of Nat King Cole’s 'Orange Coloured Sky', the lyrics from which she reworked as a dedication to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s recent royal nuptials.

The singer added before playing 'The Edge Of Glory' that her record company had told her to keep new material to a minimum, but she said she wanted to air the track in full. She said: "I’ve made a record, it’s an album that needs to be heard all the way through, it’s a deep album."

The set, which lasted for just over an hour and featured multiple costume changes, ended with a rocked up version of her most recent single 'Judas'.

Lady Gaga played:

'Born This Way'
'Bad Romance'
'Poker Face'
'Orange Coloured Sky'
'The Edge Of Glory'
'You And I'
'Just Dance'
