Lady Gaga has talked - briefly - about the time she once had a threesome.

The singer, speaking on Detroit radio show Mojo In the Morning, said that she has partaken in a ménage à trois of sorts, but didn't go into the steamy details.

When asked if she ever enjoyed a threesome, she said: "Umm, well, I suppose I have, yes. I don’t want to reveal too much. I just can say the truth."

The singer collaborated with Justin Timberlake and The Lonely Island's Andy Samberg on a comedy song '3 Way' at the weekend - hence the line of questioning on the radio show. Gaga said that Timberlake was nervous about asking for her participation on the track.

"Justin was like, 'Umm, so umm, we have a skit idea and umm, well, I'm not really good at this. I’ll have Andy tell you'," she explained. "Then Andy came and was like, 'Well, umm blah blah… we have this skit idea…' I finally got it out of them. It was so cute."
