Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' is still holding onto the Number One spot in the UK album chart official midweek update today (June 1).

If she stays at the summit of the charts, Lady Gaga could become only the third artist this year (along with Rihanna and Adele) to successfully retain the top spot. According to the Official Charts Company, it’s currently selling 75% faster than its nearest competitor, Adele’s ‘21’.

Seasick Steve’s new album ‘You Can’t Teach An Old Dog New Tricks’, meanwhile, is currently set to enter the charts at Number Five.

Pitbull’s ‘Give Me Everything’ is also still Number One in the official UK singles chart. ‘Give Me Everything’ was Number One last Sunday, but is facing competition from Aloe Blacc’s ‘I Need A Dollar’, which looks set to climb from Number Three to Number Two this week.

Check NME.COM on Sunday from 7pm (GMT) to find out this week's official UK singles and albums chart placings.
