Lady Gaga is apparently helping her father to open his Italian restaurant in New York City.

The 'Edge Of Glory' singer has apparently been advising Joe Germanotta on the menu at Joanna Trattoria, which includes a lasagne with 10 layers, doughnuts made with Nutella, mini-martini cocktails and 'Grandma Rosie's Meatballs', according to The Sun.

Lady Gaga will also be creating art for the walls of the restaurant, which Joe Germanotta will be running with American celeb chef and former personal chef to Oprah Winfrey, Art Smith.

Joe has said of his daughters cookery skills: "She's left-handed and every time I watch her chop it makes me cringe."

Earlier this month Lady Gaga became the first person to reach 18 million followers on Twitter. The milestone comes less than a year after the singer became the first person to score 10 million followers on the social networking site.

She wrote on her Twitter page Twitter.com/ladygaga:
Can't believe I have 18,000,000 TwitterMonsters, really rad, was just a few years ago I had barely any.

Gaga beat Justin Bieber by nearly two million fans and Katy Perry who was way back in third on 13.9 million. She also currently has over 46 million followers on Facebook.

Lady Gaga recently confirmed that she plans to release another album later this year.
