Lady Gaga releases details of black fluid fragrance 'Fame'
The perfume is apparently 'black like the soul of fame but invisible once airborne'
The pop singer took to Twitter after pictures of the perfume bottle for her first fragrance were leaked elsewhere online. Gaga wrote:
Looks like photos of my perfume are being leaked. Oh you fashion editors I could just crinkle my hands at you! twitter.com/ladygaga/statu…— Lady Gaga (@ladygaga) June 13, 2012
She then posted a picture of the perfume - which comes as a black liquid – and its box, which lists the ingredients. According to the packaging, Fame will smell of:
Tears of belladonna, crushed heart of tiger orchidea with a black veil of incense, pulverised apricot and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops.
The packaging goes on to explain that the black perfume becomes invisible once it is spritzed onto skin. "First of its kind, this perfume is an innovation in fluid technology. It's black like the soul of fame but invisible once airborne."
On Twitter a fan asked Gaga if there she will be making a male perfume "for the gays", to which she responded: "My perfume was designed for women, but a lot of my gay friends wear it."
Lady Gaga recently revealed that she will announce her new album title in September and that she has already played the new material to record company bosses. The singer is currently touring the world in support of her second album 'Born This Way’.
