Lady Gaga appeared at London Fashion Week yesterday (September 16) to introduce a Michael Jackson-themed show by milliner Philip Treacy.

The singer took to the stage wearing a neon pink veil that completely covered her face, before striking a Jesus-like pose and announcing: "Ladies and gentleman, the greatest milliner in the world, Philip Treacy - in the clothes of the late Michael Jackson."

She then shouted "Open fashion!" before turning round and exiting the stage. Scroll down to watch a video of Lady Gaga's introduction speech.

After Gaga's exit, Treacy's catwalk show began, featuring models wearing the actual stage costumes of Michael Jackson and outlandish hats inspired by the late singer. Gaga watched from the front row, having replaced her veil with a headpiece resembling a garland of flowers.

Last week (September 13), the singer made an even more unusual appearance in New York, launching her new perfume 'Fame' by having a tattoo inked on the back of her head during a live show. The singer is set to resume her 'Born This Way Ball' tour in Amsterdam tonight (September 17).

She recently completed the tour's British leg with a pair of dates at Twickenham Stadium on September 8 and 9 and a third show at Manchester Arena on September 11.

Gaga will return to the UK for a public appearance at iconic London department store Harrods on October 7.
