Lady Gaga has responded angrily after being lampooned in the new music video by Die Antwoord.

The clip for the South African rap group's new single, 'Fatty Boom Boom', features a man dressed in a replica of the 'Born This Way' singer's infamous meat dress who is attacked by rebels and then mauled by a lion – scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to watch.

After seeing the video, Gaga fired two Tweets at the band, which you can read below:

Die Antwoord responded to the singer’s thinly-veiled criticism, meanwhile, by writing: "lady… even tho u r 'larger' than us… we still cooler than u… plus we don't have prawns in our private."

Gaga is reportedly working on a song for the soundtrack to the new The Great Gatsby film and will release her third studio album, 'ARTPOP', in early 2013. In August of this year, it was reported that she was recording her vocals for the LP while naked as she believes that being nude makes her voice sound better.
