Lady Gaga hopes Pippa Middleton, the sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, will give her tips on how to be a royal.

The 'Born This Way' singer is reportedly "obsessed" with the royal family and hopes by reading Pippa's new book, Celebrate, she'll be able to live her life in the style of the British Monarchy.

"Gaga is obsessed with the royal family and especially with Pippa," a source told The Daily Star. "She was so desperate to get her hands on Pippa's book she had aides ship it to her via courier to Puerto Rico where she was performing earlier this week."

The source goes on to explain that Gaga hopes that by reading the book she'll have something to talk about should she ever meet Kate Middleton. But she's not too bothered which member of the Middleton family she befriends, as the source concludes: "She would love to get pally with Pippa."

Lady Gaga recently hit the headlines after it was revealed that a series of gender-bending ferns had been named after the 'Judas' star. The singer, who also sparked controversy earlier this week when she clashed with Calvin Harris on Twitter, is set to release her third studio album 'ARTPOP' in early 2013.
