Lady Gaga has confirmed that she is making a film.

The 'Born This Way' singer revealed to fans on Twitter yesterday (December 25) that she had teamed up with long-time collaborator and famed photographer Terry Richardson to make the documentary-style movie.

She tweeted:



She added: "I love you @Terry_World thank you for believing in me and my fans, I have looked up to you and your work for so long, it's a dream come true!"

The singer also tweeted about the progress of her new album, which is titled 'ARTPOP', and told her followers that news of the documentary film is a taster of things to come. "Thank you for being so patient waiting for my new album ARTPOP I hope this gets u excited for things to come. I love you with all my heart," she said.

Lady Gaga was last seen onstage with The Rolling Stones during the band's final date of their 50-year anniversary gigs at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The singer joined the legendary band for 'Gimmie Shelter'.
