Lady Gaga has attempted to stop details of a lawsuit between her former collaborator Wendy Starland and ex-boyfriend Rob Fusari being made public, says Digital Spy.

Starland began legal proceedings against producer Fusari in 2010 with the claims that she was owed money for her part in discovering GaGa. She says she found the singer when she was still using her real name Stefani Germanotta and introduced her to Fusari.

GaGa is said to have filed documents earlier this week asking for particular information in the case to be sealed by the court. She has described the details in the lawsuit as "sensitive, private and personal" and says they would "inflict significant personal and professional harm upon" her if the information was ever to be made public.

The singer, now 27, states that her and Fusari are legally bound to keep the details private, after the pair signed a non-disparagement agreement. In 2010 though, they both filed lawsuits against each other. Fusari issued his first, claiming he had not been properly compensated for the significant contribution he had made to her career. Both cases were eventually dropped.

Last week, Lady GaGa topped Forbes' 'Most Powerful Musicians' list, which is based on earnings, social media and press mentions. She also performed the US national anthem at New York's Gay Pride rally to celebrate the decision to overturn the Defense of Marriage Act (Doma).

GaGa’s forthcoming new album 'ARTPOP' is expected to be released later this year. Her producer Zedd recently told Rolling Stone it was "experimental" and "really fucking cool".
