Lady Gaga appears in a waitress costume in the trailer for the new Sin City film – watch it below.

The pop star makes a cameo in Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, co-directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller based on the latter's series of graphic novels. The film features returning cast members Jessica Alba, Micky Rourke and Bruce Willis as well as new additions Eva Green, Josh Brolin and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Posting a grab of the trailer to Instagram, Gaga wrote: "It's true! I'll be in Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For with my favorite scene partner Joseph Gordon-Levitt I love Rodriguez he really killed this one!"

Meanwhile, Eva Green recently responded to the fact that a poster promoting the film featuring her image was banned for featuring too much nudity. A statement released by the MPAA board states that the specific reasoning behind the ban was Green's "nudity — curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown".

Discussing the poster, Green said: "I find it a bit odd. It seems like it’s all just publicity - a lot of noise for nothing."
