Lady Sovereign lays into Corinne Bailey Rae
Rapper adds fuel to Lily Allen’s fire
Lady Sovereign has become the latest musician to have a rant against Corinne Bailey Rae, just weeks after Lily Allen turned on the singer.
Speaking to The Daily Mirror’s 3AM Girls today (February 20), Lady Sovereign admitted to cornering Corinne Bailey Rae backstage at a recording for T4, boasting “I told her she was boring and that she should be called Corinne “Boring” Rae.”
The insult was met coolly by the BRIT-nominated singer/songwriter, who failed to take the bait.
“Corinne just said ‘whatever’ and turned on her heels like she was The Queen,” Lady Sovereign complained.
