Ladyhawke has announced details of a one-off London gig next month.

The Kiwi singer – real name Pip Brown – will play at the 100 Club on November 15, her first gig in the capital for two years.

She's expected to be premiering new material at the gig, after working on the follow-up to her 2008 self-titled debut with producer Pascal Gabriel in the south of France earlier this year.

Earlier this year, Brown told NME that she has been taking a trip down memory lane during the sessions – and revisiting her old Britpop records from the likes of Supergrass and Blur.

She commented:

It's a lot heavier, guitar and drum-wise. I wanted a live feel. It's an upbeat album, I swear!

The as-yet-untitled album's expected to be released in spring 2012, with tracks titled 'Vaccine', 'Blue Eyes' and 'Sunday Drive' slated for inclusion.

Tickets for the 100 Club gig go onsale next Wednesday (November 2) through Ladyhawkemusic.com, with further UK dates set to be announced later this year.
