Lana Del Rey names debut album 'Born To Die' - video
Singer lets slip her LP title on French TV
The star, who became a YouTube sensation with the low-budget video for her track 'Video Games' and scored a Top Ten hit with the single last month, told French television show Taratata that her debut LP will be named after her forthcoming single 'Born To Die'.
She later performed 'Video Games' on the show which you can watch by scrolling down and clicking below.
The singer recently revealed that she hired a tiger for the video for 'Born To Die'.
Tigers don't come cheap. It's a controversial video. You'll have to wait to see it but I got a generous budget. I wasn't allowed to be alone with the tiger at any time, for obvious reasons. It was a special experience.
The album has a tentative release date for January 23 next year in the UK, according to Amazon.
Earlier this month, NME witnessed Lana Del Rey's first UK gig at Manchester's Ruby Lounge. To find out what we made of the show, visit NME.COM/blogs.
