Lana Del Rey shares new song 'Shades Of Cool' - listen

Seconf song from 'Ultraviolence' revealed

Lana Del Rey has shared new song 'Shades Of Cool'. See above to listen now.

The song is the second to be lifted from the US singer's forthcoming 'Ultraviolence' album after 'West Coast'. 'Shades Of Cool' was written by Rick Nowels who previously worked with Del Rey on her songs 'Summertime Sadness' and 'Young And Beautiful.'

The US singer's second album will be released in the UK on June 16 with the album coming out the following day elsewhere. 'Ultraviolence' is produced by The Black Keys guitarist Dan Auerbach.

Auerbach recently admitted that he to "bumped heads" with Del Rey when he produced the album.

Speaking about making the album, Auerbach said although things were not always easy, the whole album was recorded in just a fortnight. "We were only scheduled to do three days, and then she stretched it out to two weeks and we finished a whole record. She's the real deal," he said.

"She impressed me every day," he added. "There were moments when she was fighting me. I could sense that maybe she didn't want to have anybody think she wasn't in control because I'm sure it's really hard to be a woman in the music business. So we bumped heads a little bit, but at the end of the day we were dancing to the songs."

Both Lana Del Rey and The Black Keys will perform at this year's Glastonbury festival while Del Rey is also set to play a slew of US tour dates in May and June following her recent performance at Coachella, where she first debuted 'West Coast' in full.

The 'Ultraviolence' tracklist is as follows:

'Cruel World'
'Ultraviolence'
'Shades Of Cool'
'Brooklyn Baby'
'West Coast'
'Sad Girl'
'Pretty When You Cry'
'Money Power Glory'
'Fucked My Way Up To The Top'
'Old Money'
'The Other Woman'
'Black Beauty' (Bonus track)

'Florida Kilos' (Bonus track)
