Lana Del Rey supporting Guns N' Roses rumours denied

Lana Del Rey will not be supporting Guns N' Roses on tour, despite rumours to the contrary.

Yesterday it was suggested that Del Rey could be set to open for the recently reunited band when they head out on the road in America later in the year. Guns N' Roses reunited with their original line-up for Coachella and a series of huge headline dates.

The root of the rumours appeared to be Del Rey sporting a 'Guns N' Roses/ Lana Del Rey 2016 Tour' jacket (see below). However, TMZ reports that Axl Rose had custom satin jackets made for a number of close friends, including the singer.

Lana Del Rey has referenced the band in her songs in the past, notably with the songs 'Guns and Roses' and 'Axl Rose Husband'.



Guns N' Roses announced a 20-date North American summer tour beginning in June, though shows outside of North America have yet to be confirmed.

Last month (March) it was reported that Guns N' Roses are working on new music. However, this has yet to be commented on by the band.

At their Coachella set, the group were joined by AC/DC's Angus Young after it had been confirmed that Axl Rose will front the band for their remaining live dates.
