The gig is taking place in an unlikely venue…

Late Of The Pier have announced they are to play a special, one-off homecoming show in Nottingham on March 13.

Hosted by the city's Liars Club, the gig will take place in an unlikely venue - the Polish Eagle Club, a dancehall usually reserved for Catholic weddings.

The show will see support from Bordeaux electro-punk Kap Bambino and Nottingham’s new wave outfit La La Lepus.

Late Of The Pier will also be spinning records after the gig, under their alter-ego CP. ZARCORP, alongside Liars Club DJs.

Speaking of the choice of venue, Liars Club organiser Ricky Haley told NME.COM: "The band wanted to play somewhere they've never played before, to differentiate this gig as being something special.

"I went down to the venue with Faley to check it out and when we got there people were in the middle of a Polish ball-dance. It was so different to anything else, immediately he new this was where the gig should be."

The show follows the band’s full February UK tour with Slagsmalsklubben and Video Nasties, which calls in at the following venues:
