Star suggest old Fugees bandmate is in trouble

Wyclef Jean - 'Lauryn Hill needs psychiatric help'

Wyclef Jean has claimed that former Fugees bandmate Lauryn Hill needs psychiatric help.

The star's reported erratic behaviour has been a talking point for years, and she was booed off after her strange behaviour at a London gig in July.

Speaking to MTV News, Jean said: "Lauryn Hill, Mrs Hill, the Hill should go see a psychiatrist – period – Just seek help.

"At this point I really think it will take an act of God to change her, because she is that far out there."

It is widely believed that The Fugees have not recorded any new material since 1996's 'The Score', 11 years ago, because of Hill’s erratic behaviour, thought they have toured intermittently.

Earlier this year, Fugees rapper Pras Michel suggested that Hill was responsible for blocking a possible reunion.
