LAURYN'S KOOL MOVE

The soul funksters are making something of a comeback...

LAURYN HILL has written a track for 70s soul funksters KOOL & THE GANG, set to feature on the band's forthcoming new album 'KOOL & THE GANG PRESENTS GANDLAND'.

The album is set for release later this month. The former Fugees frontwoman's song, 'All My Time', sits alongside alongside another track with guest vocal from Rachid. Rachid is son of the group's founder member. He enjoyed critical acclaim for his 1998 debut solo album 'Prototype'.

Kool And The Gang are capitalising on a current Stateside renaissance. A host of their tracks are being heavily sampled by contemporary rap and soul artists.
