LCD Soundsystem beat volcanic ash no-fly zone to keep UK tour on track

James Murphy and co now face epic drive from Spain for dates

LCD Soundsystem‘s UK tour is on after the band planned a mammoth trek across Europe to get around the disruptions caused by a volcano in Iceland.

James Murphy’s band were forced to pull their shows in Dublin this week (April 20-21) after ash hurled into the atmosphere closed much of north European airspace, leaving the band stuck in New York.

However, the band have announced they have finally arrived in Europe, reaching Spain this morning (April 20).

Leeds O2 Academy (27)
