James Murphy plans a busy summer

LCD Soundsystem have confirmed appearances at several UK and European festivals this summer.

James Murphy and company will join Daft Punk at the 02 Wireless Festival in London and Leeds on June 16 and 17.

They'll go on to play Switzerland's St Gallen Festival on June 29 and Summercase in Madrid and Barcelona on July 13 and 14.

They'll also hit the Carling Weekend: Reading And Leeds Festivals between August 24 and 26.

LCD Soundsystem's new album, 'Sound of Silver', was released last week in the UK and the US.

The festival dates are:

London 02 Wireless Festival (June 16)
Leeds 02 Wireless Festival (17)
St Gallen, Switzerland Festival (29)
Wretcher, Belgium Festival (30)
Gdynia, Poland Heineken Opener (July 1)
Madrid, Spain Summercase (13)
Barcelona, Spain Summercase (14)
Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival (August 24)
Carling Weekend: Reading Festival (26)
Argyll, Scotland Connect (September 2)
