LCD Soundsystem announce North American tour details
LCD Soundsystem have announced plans to tour North America.

Beginning with two nights at New York's Terminal 5 on May 20, James Murphy and co will finish the jaunt with an appearance at Bonnaroo Festival on June 11.

'This Is Happening', the group's third studio album, is released in the US on May 18 and in the UK on May 17.

Meanwhile, speaking as part of a special 10 covers issue of NME on the state of music in 2010 (which is on UK newsstands now), James Murphy has revealed how reality TV singing contests like The X Factor make him "sad", adding that the group are "numb to Simon Cowell being a piece of shit".
