Former Libertine trying to blag Led Zeppelin reunion

Carl Barat wants in if the legends reform

Carl Barat has declared he wants to “blag” tickets should Led Zeppelin reform this year.

With rumours abounding that the rock veterans are about to reform the Dirty Pretty Things frontman has told NME.COM he will do everything to get into the show.

“I'm terrifically excited. I'm going to have to go and learn all their songs now,” he declared. “Actually to tell you the truth I’m not that bothered at all but I like a one-off and I imagine I'll do my best to blag a ticket. They’re one of those bands that I intend to listen to but I haven't really yet.”

What do you think about the band getting back together? Have your say on MyNME below and the best comments will appear throughout the day so keep checking.

Meanwhile Dirty Pretty Things have confirmed they will play a special acoustic show tonight (September 4) at the Boogaloo Bar in north London to mark the launch of NME’s photographer Roger Sargent's new exhibition featuring pictures of the band.
