Legends will reportedly play first US show since 1977

Led Zeppelin will reportedly play their first US show in over 30 years at the Bonnaroo Festival in Tennessee.

The news source is an email in a newsletter written by Bob Lefsetz, who publishes The Lefsetz Letter which looks at the music industry.

The email also reported that Metallica will headline the festival, set to take place in June, says Billboard.

Led Zeppelin last played the US at a show in Oakland, California in July 1977.

As we reported today, the band have promised an epic two-hour set for their reunion show at London’s O2 Arena on December 10.

NME.COM will be bringing you comprehensive coverage of the Led Zeppelin reunion. We will be bringing you the build-up all week, while on December 10 we will have live coverage straight from the 02 Arena including news, pictures and a special blog.

Stay tuned to NME.COM for all the action.
