Led Zeppelin's Robert Plant to play meet and greet gig in aid of Cancer Research UK

Robert Plant is to play an intimate gig this February in aid of Cancer Research UK.

The Led Zeppelin man is to headline this year's Sound & Vision event at London's Abbey Road on February 25, where he will be joined onstage by American singer-songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman and the London Oriana Choir.

VIP tickets to the event, which is celebrating its fifth year, give fans the chance to meet performers. They are available from Soundandvisionebay.com.

In addition to Plant, the evening will also see performances from David Gray and Newton Faulkner.

Soundandvisionebay.com is also giving music fans the chance to bid on rare music memorabilia, including the likes of a Gibson guitar signed by The Prodigy and a drumkit signed by Kaiser Chiefs.

Speaking of the event, Plant said: "My set is quite different from anything I've ever done before, as I'll be performing with Beth and a full choir on stage. Cancer is a disease that affects so many people and Sound & Vision is a great way to raise money to fight it."

A number of mementoes from Plant's career will also be put up for auction on the night of the gig.
