Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page rules out any further reunion shows

Guitarist says it's unlikely the band will play together again

Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page has admitted "it looks very unlikely" the band will ever play again.

Speaking ahead of the DVD of the band's 2007 London reunion show Celebration Day, which will be released on November 19, the axeman told Jools Holland on his TV show Later... With Jools Holland last night (November 14), that they won't be doing any more shows. Scroll down below to watch the full interview.

He said: "We're almost five years after the O2 concert and I must say I thought there might be some other get together for some reason or another but, as the years ticked by, it doesn't look very likely does it? But [at least this gig] is there."

Page recently told NME it took two years before he and the rest of Zeppelin sat down to watch the footage of their 2007 reunion show, and another three years before it was ready for release.

He added: "It was important that if we were going to do [a reunion] at all, that we went out there and did it properly. We put a lot of time and effort into it so that it would be what you're going to see now, which is just one show – that's all we did, no warm-up gigs, no follow-up. It wasn't designed to be a film at all. That's why it's taken a little while to come out, because we didn't even look at it for two years after we'd done it, so we could be a bit more objective about it."
