Lenny Kravitz has announced details of a new solo album and a one-off gig in London.

The singer is set to release his ninth studio LP 'Black And White America' on August 22. The record will be preceded by the first single - 'Stand' which is out on June 6.

Tracks slated to appear on the follow-up to his 2008 album 'It Is Time For A Love Revolution' include 'Come On Get It', 'Do It', 'The Faith Of A Child', 'Super Love' and 'Dream'.

The singer was recently cast to appear in new futuristic teen movie The Hunger Games. He is set to play Cinna, a rebellious stylist. The movie is due out in March 2012.
