Police are called to Waterstone's store after altercation

Leona Lewis has reportedly been slapped during a book signing at Waterstone's' Piccadilly shop in London this afternoon (October 14).

Scotland Yard has confirmed that police officers attended the central London branch of the shop, where Lewis was signing copies of her book 'Dreams', reports BBC News.

"The female did not require hospital treatment – we are at the scene," the spokesman confirmed.
