'X Factor' winner stays at Number One
Leona Lewis is last UK chart-topper of 2006
'X Factor' winner Leona Lewis has ended 2006 at the top of the UK singles chart.
The singer's cover of Kelly Clarkson's 'A Moment Like This' shot straight into the top spot to claim the coveted Xmas Number One slot last week, outselling the rest of the Top 40 put together.
Tonight (December 31) she has held on at the top.
The highest new entry comes from metal legends Iron Maiden at Three with 'Different World'.
The Top Ten is:
1. Leona Lewis - 'A Moment Like This'
2. Take That - 'Patience'
3. Iron Maiden - 'Different World'
4. Akon ft Eminem - 'Smack That'
5. Cascada - 'Truly Madly Deeply'
6. Booty Luv - 'Boogie 2nite'

8. Sharam - 'Patt (Party All The Time)'
9. Chris Cornell - 'You Know My Name'
10. Gwen Stefani - 'Wind It Up'
Take That are top of the album chart for the fifth week running with comeback LP 'Beautiful World'.
